Bengaluru, 26 February 2026: The Government of Andhra Pradesh and Calibo have signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to advance rapid use case development with AI-ready talent and responsible AI innovation. The partnership includes establishing the Calibo AI Academy with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) across 50+ higher education institutions and implementing the Calibo AI Innovation Sandbox with the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) to securely design, develop, and test public-sector AI use cases outside production environments.

Together, these partnerships aim to position Andhra Pradesh as a global AI innovation hub while strengthening employability and economic outcomes with industry-ready talent pools and bite-sized AI experimentation.
What launched
The partnership includes two initiatives:
- Calibo AI Academy with Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC): Applied AI programs and AI-integrated learning pathways across 50+ higher education institutions, focused on employability, faculty enablement, and real-world use-case exposure.
- Calibo AI Innovation Sandbox with Real Time Governance Society (RTGS): A controlled environment to securely design, develop, and test public-sector AI use cases outside production environments, helping teams experiment securely and scale responsibly.
Calibo AI Academy: building AI-ready talent at scale
Delivered in collaboration with the APSSDC, Calibo will serve as the applied AI programs partner to introduce AI-integrated academic delivery models across 50+ higher education institutions.
Guided by Calibo’s Digital Business Innovation Methodology, the program will be delivered through blended learning models and applied programs.

Calibo AI Innovation Sandbox: trusted experimentation for public-sector AI
In partnership with the RTGS, Calibo will deploy and support the Calibo AI Innovation Sandbox as a secure, controlled experimentation environment for public-sector AI:
- Support the end-to-end lifecycle of AI use cases—from problem definition and model development to pilot validation and impact evaluation
- Securely design, develop, and test AI use cases outside production environments
- Enable well-managed and auditable experimentation with governance-aligned workflows
- Move from “bite-sized” pilots to repeatable, measurable outcomes—responsibly
The initiative aligns with the Government of India’s IndiaAI Mission and is intended to strengthen governance efficiency, public service delivery, and data-driven decision-making.
